Who is responsible
Solopair is operated by Consensus Labs Swiss GmbH, Gotthardstrasse 3, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. For privacy questions, contact support@solopair.io.
Website visits
When you visit the site, the server records your IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, referring page and browser information to deliver and secure the website and investigate abuse. These necessary technical records are separate from optional analytics.
Your messages
When you send a message, we use your name, email address, selected topic, message, consultation preference and page language to handle your enquiry, reply and discuss a possible working relationship. Your message is delivered through an email service. A consultation request does not reserve a time or subscribe you to marketing.
Pair applications
For pair applications, we use your name, email address, contribution areas, work example and AI approach, plus any profile link, working languages, time zone, availability and optional CV you provide, to assess a possible collaboration and contact you. Applications and CV attachments are delivered by email. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing.
Booking a consultation
If you request a consultation, an external calendar booking page appears after your message is sent. Its operator receives technical connection information when the page loads and the booking details you provide under its own privacy terms. Your appointment is booked only when you choose and confirm a time there.
Cookies and your choice
Form entries are not saved in browser storage. We remember your cookie choice for 180 days so we can respect it. Optional analytics cookies, configured to last up to 180 days, are set only with your permission. You can refuse them, continue using the site, or withdraw your permission through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future collection and clears analytics cookies on this site; it does not automatically delete data already processed. A functional cookie remembers the language you select for up to 180 days. On the main homepage, your saved choice takes priority over your browser’s language preferences; direct language links keep their language.
Optional analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources, page language and successful contact or pair application submissions. This involves cookie identifiers, usage events and basic browser/device and connection information; IP information is processed by the service for connection and approximate location. We do not send names, email addresses, messages, CVs or portfolio links to Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Opening the consultation calendar is measured as opening it, not as a confirmed booking. Event data is retained for 14 months; aggregated reports may remain longer.
How the analytics service processes usage data
Service providers
We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery and mailboxes, consultation scheduling and optional audience measurement. They receive the data needed for those functions. Our team handles enquiries and applications from Switzerland. Data may also be disclosed where a legal obligation requires it.
Processing outside Switzerland
The website server is in Germany, which Switzerland recognises as providing adequate data protection. Our email, calendar and analytics services can also process data in the United States and in their other service-specific processing locations. For covered US recipients, the providers' published transfer terms provide for the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework; recognised standard contractual clauses apply where relevant. This does not mean all US processing is automatically covered. Contact us for details of the recipients, processing countries and applicable safeguards.
How long we keep data
We schedule concluded enquiries and pair applications, including their CV attachments, for deletion from our operational mailbox 30 days after the process is recorded as closed. Deletion takes place at the next scheduled check. A new message reopens the process; a new retention period starts only when it is closed again. If a relationship continues, the records needed for that relationship remain for its duration. Records that must be retained by law or for a specific legal claim are kept only as needed for that purpose. This 30-day rule does not govern providers' independent technical or legal records. Application abuse-prevention records have a 15-minute validity period. Server access logs rotate daily with 14 archived files. Analytics and cookie periods are described above. Provider recovery copies and backups may remain for their separate deletion cycles; removal from our operational mailbox does not mean immediate erasure from every provider system.
Your rights and contact
Contact support@solopair.io to ask about your data or request access, correction or deletion. Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may also object to processing or request a portable copy. These rights can be subject to legal limits. You can withdraw optional cookie consent at any time. You may raise data protection concerns with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
